Garlic
Last summer I harvested, dried and stored in the shed a good crop of Garlic . Since starting to use them in cooking finding they are going soft & rotten. What has gone wrong ?

I know about crop rotation for all the various reasons but recently I was told that Runner Beans were ok to plant in the same patch on the plot each year. What do you think ?

My Rhubarb has been growing fine for about 4 years.A
few leaves are just coming up, but they have rusty coloured markings on. Is this desiesed & unusable, the end of this plant ?

We took on another plot that had been planted with Raspberrys, but left unwanted and untouched.I think they are at least 4 years old and only 2ft tall at best. We fed and waterd them thru the spring and summer. They had a few leaves and a couple of fruits. Not sure what to do now. Shall we leave the...

Hi Oldherbacious,Thanx for your reply. The outside and next set of leaves are yellowing. The roots were pretty good and well formed.
The Garlic are the same brand as I tried last year, from a local garden centre with the same results too.

Slow to grow ?
Last autumn I planted as said on the packing some Onion sets and Garlic. I protected them from birds with fleece to start with then closhes for a whill, for the winter frosts, that never came. As the tops are yellowing and drooping I dug out one of each and both were like medium sized spring onions....

If I actually get to harvest some cabbage I will be happy. So I will try the companion planting again , armed with netting im off to the plot !!
