Phew, no mention of Richard Gere..
That sounds really cute keeping fish in your water butt. I'll be interested to hear if they like it. I'm presuming you can't have a lid on if you have fish?

I've just taken a couple of photos of my Ailsa Craig for you. Hopefully the leaves may be slightly different. My Gartenperles spikes are more rounded than these which is how I can tell the difference but I've no idea about your yellow bush one. Hope the photos help anyway. http://i5.photobucket.com/...

Well then - this is looking good! I'll change my original list as it included quiche and potato salad. OH will make a game pie, bread and a desert (yet to be determined) and I'll make a fish pate (imagine the accent over the e please) and a meat pate (ditto) plus a salad. We'll bring a flagon of Ja...

Streps - well done - you certainly give me encouragement. There are times when I could really enjoy one, but I know I won't ever have another one. Have you saved the money??? If so, have you spent any? Are you saving for something special?? Congratulations! You deserve a big reward. Thank you! I wi...

If you get big side shoots mid-season use them as cuttings - much easier way of getting late plants for succession than sowing another lot. Sounds great! Would I just nip them off and plant them or dip in rooting powder or place in water? And could you give me some idea of what you mean by mid-seas...

Here are my first spuds! They've just reached the top of the bucket so I've filled them up and put some weedfree material over to help keep out the light. I planted two in this bucket that I got from Morrison's when they were selling off the black flower buckets 10 for 99p. They should be ready in J...

This is possibly a bit late but my tomato plant is at a good point to show the side shoots so thought I'd take a pic. Now hopefully you can see the normal branches at a 90% (ish) angle and then the side shoots coming up between them at like 45%. The two below are getting quite big and you can also s...
