Propapacks?

About 10/12 yrs ago I bought what I thought were called propapacks from a seed catologue, they were polystyrene module trays (not the strip type that you buy bedding plants in), but I cannot find them anywhere now Does anyone know who sells them?

Brilliant info John Thankyou :D just one question! I have two raised veggy beds & just wondered if I could plant them closer together then gradually thin them once the "thinnings" are of a useable size?

Seed Viability?

Hi
I only have two smallish veggy beds so needless to say an ordinary pkt of seeds will last several seasons usually past there "Sow By" date is there a better way of checking the seed is still viable at the beginning of the season than sowing them & hopeing for the best?
