In my view Potatoes are normally planted in March for harvesting throughout summer. If you planting first potatoes in End of February, then you can harvest it after 10 weeks. Remember some garden member needs advice here: Vegetables love the sun, then they need at least five to six hours of full sun every day. Vegetables must have good, loamy, well-drained soil. Avoid planting too near a trees. Vegetables need lots of water, at least 1 inch of water a week.

In my personal point of view The greenhouse is the much better than Polytunnel because of it is less wasted space and also they make rainwater harvesting very easy. It is very cheaper than polytunnel. I will choose the greenhouse.

I think you can plantation winter salads such as mizuna, corn salad, coriander, land cress, and mustards which grow the very slowly. They all will be finished in November.

According to me, The onion is the best for protection by your frame than garlic. So you can planting the onion by a frame. No doubt that other farmers will have much better ideas about this thing.
