The best feeders I've found are the pop bottle ones ,I buy the end bits from amazon usually three for £5 ish put a couple of holes in the bottom of an empty pop bottle and fit the hanging bar fill from the other end then screw the feeder on its a great way to salvage pop bottles

I think the penny has just dropped , I've never done well with potatoes up two 2 years ago I would use manure were I grow potatoes ,three years ago I said to one of my neighbors down the plot that I was fed up with weeds it was a constant battle keeping them down we decided between the two of us tha...

I was three quarters off an hour driving one and half miles to the plot this morning , most of the main roads around our part of town are flooded a main road into town is closed due to flooding that puts all the other roads to full capacity

Plums and cherries are my problem , we have two plum bushes come trees one was given to me by my daughter it is supposed to be a patio plum it's now around 12 feet high ,on the two trees I think I can see three little plums ,we have three cherry trees we normally get a few but not many leave the plo...

Torrential rain here again ,forecast the same for tomorrow ,the plot is flooded but we can't complain we were rain dancing last week my wife all ways said she is a witch ,she never said it like that more about her supernatural power as I said a witch

A new plotter on our allotment has planted two rows down one side and along the bottom ,at the moment they are just sticks but he has allowed around four feet in width for them and around 18 inches between twigs, hope this helps ,welcome to the forum

Hi westi, he got shut of his pigeons around a year ago I think it might have been a complaint to the council that caused it his pigeon lofts were rat ridden filthy places, he is one of them people who will not listen to anyone he knows what he is doing he just douse it on purpose

We are having to net everything this year we are overrun with pigeons and pheasants due to one idiot feeding them the problem is his house backs on to his plot so we can't complain as the feed is in his garden
