The charges are not that bad to start with ,I paid around £25 for a plot that's around 350 square meters but I do get 50% reduction for being a pensioner ,there is a few on our site who want to go self managed ,the committee would collect the rents and pay a small amount to the council but we would ...

I've had to pull a few seed heads of my onions but only three up to date , we had rain forecast for eight and nine o'clock then it was cancelled but the skies are very dark and ominous at present

We have now got one tap between 33 plots , don't get me wrong this is not a moan about the lack of taps it's the stupidity of a council that feels it's ok to put 30 new plots on and existing 30 plot site when the original plots have one tap for every four plots and the new ones don't have any

To be honest Diane I would not give it a second thought ,I registered our dog with a vet around eight miles away he was the only vet I could find that was not part of a group , I went last year for his top up injections the vet was a young Spanish girl I asked her to have a look at a lump he had on ...

The trees are less than 2 meters high, last year we had quite a few cherries at this time but I think we managed to pick five the lad on the plot opposite lost the lot in two days ,I've done one since the post I put on I've also netted three blueberry bushes which are laden in small fruits

I've got three cherry trees / bushes they are laden with small fruits ,I'm thinking of putting netting over them to keep the birds off them , has anybody done this and is it worthwhile

I use a hand held label printer ,I print the plant name and stick it to a plastic marker they last for around two years

My mixture is agrigem this is expensive ,the first couple of times I used it I was disappointed ,a week ago I made a mix using this mixed with glyphosate then watered down to the specified amount , now my plot has dead mares tails everywhere then again wether they regrow is another matter

It's just to keep weeds down and it breaks down over summer and fertilises the soil
