I think it is the weather, the sudden heavy down pours is too much all at once for out door tomatoes. My cherry ones are splitting, but great for using for soups etc.

Thanks PP now I understand. Not sure I want to take so much off the main plant just yet.

Westie I have always had an email notification of replies to any topic I have posted or commented on. Now I am having to check every time. I've checked my setting they seem to be ok. It's a mystery.

Aeonium - help please

I have successfully rooted this rosette Aeconium ‘Nigrum’ from the plant I bought last year. But can anyone tell me how do I get it to branch out like the mother plant.?

Good stuff but looks fresh to me; when I have loads like this I put in in my compost bins and try to layer with anything else that comes to hand, green waste, shredded paper, annual weeds, kitchen waste etc. keep adding to it then use it in the autumn to dig in or use as a mulch in the spring. I had a spray can of Dettol in the shed and used that but don't know if it is really as strong as Jeyes.
