sowing on the allotment

hello everone as january has been so mild have you planted anything yet in your allotment...if you have what have you put in.....me i have not put anything in just yet..still a little early, and the weather is not too good for the next 2 weeks.... lots of frost and snow...

thanks for the reply primrose, we have talked to the local council and they said the price will stand for this year,because the allotments are funded by the tax payer,which most plot holders are tax payers as well,the best thing the council do not pay any rent for the site,we only have water rates,c...

i think i win at the moment for a council run plots £112 for a ten pole plot.can anyone beat that..

i think you win hands down for price wise,thats 520 a year wow thats a lot for a plot, do the council run that.

allotment price

hello just want to know how much you pay for a 10 pole plot, at the moment we pay 112 pounds per year, please can you let me know i would like to pass this back to my local mp...as our council seems to what to put the price up again this year,,,thank you :D

i think the reason the council are putting the rates up so much is to make up the shortfall they have,and the allotments are easy picking,and i was told if you give it up we have plenty of people waiting for your plot, which is so wrong

sorry to here about sheds being broken into,,my shed was broken into so many times i have lost count,,,the kids were caught and were given a slap on the hand...the only think i can say is take all your tools out for the winter.with no lock on...the shed....

hi everyone hope you all had a good xmas,and a happy new year :D my allotment rent has gone up as well,56 pounds last year to 112 pounds this year god knows what it will be come this april..this for a 10 pole plot...
