I have six dwarf fruit trees all have set fruit more than ever before. They are now growing more new shoots should I let these grow long or should I prune them. If let grow when should I prune them. Pentland Javelin

My pentland Javelin sown march 17 th under plastic are quiet tall. They are not showing any flowers although the foliage is very healthy. Is this normal for this variety, and should the crop be ready for harvesting.

frosted potatoe crop

My early potatoes have been affected by the recent frosts. Foilage badly frosted. will they recover and will i get a harvest from this crop. is there anything i can do to aid their recovery.

I appreciate that the ivy will still cling to the wall even when dead, but I need to kill the roots so that they will not grow bigger and damage the pipes.I have some neat glysophate so perhaps I would be better to use that

I have a varigated ivy planted at the foot of my toilet waste pipes to to hide the pipes.(Big mistake).How can i kill the ivy to prevent looming damage to the pipe work below ground. I have minarette fruit trees on my allotment. the apples have done well this year but the plums and pears have not fruited although they did flower. I feel they will produce more if I move them to give them more room and not prune them as hard and let them grow more freely. when would be the best ti...

Must admit not too much feed as I put a lot of manure in the buckets. I have quite a lot of wood ash would this be good to put on top of the buckets and water in .

Yes i do tend to leave them on the plant until Quite large. But .

I grow cus. in 2 gallon black plastic buckets in the greenhouse. The lower 6 cus make large fruits but any of those above that have flowers and very small cus that wither and never develop into usable fruit. I am obviously doing some thing wrong. What is it.
