Bill if you google vegetable plants on line you will have some suppliers to choose from, there are early and late leeks just like potatoes. I usually grow mine from seed so can't reccomend any particular supplier, but this link has a wide selection. and they do a mixed collection that will stagger ...

Would they be prone to blight because i am growing in the same plot?.
Probly buy on line .Not certain it will happen yet that is my reason for asking.

Dwarf fruit trees

Just bought some dwarf fruit trees ,would like to plant direct into garden out of pots,if i did would they grow tall,or do they need to be kept restricted in there pots

Hi Bill, I put in some rock dust, ( mineral rich ) and some seaweed when I made the beds. I also make as much compost as I can muster, at the moment I have one large bay decomposing, another being made and two compost bins, they will be used to topdress beds and to make my own potting and seed comp...

That is an interesting post Natures babe,i intend to raise my beds only by 4" have lots of rotted compost will use some in there ,what else do you make your raised beds up with just top soil ,or baged compost? Thanks Bill

Thanks for the answeres first time i have grown some ,bought off ebay next year will grow my own from seed ,seems the person i bought off doesnt know her cucumbers.I have miracle grow so will start useing .For next year what is recomended in seed for indoor growing.

Well the young lady says Market more all female flowers thought they should have a cucumber behind ,these dont look as if they have .
