Re: PRICE OF SEEDS
I've bought seeds from Wilkinson's (their own brand) and have sometimes found better germination rates that some of the more well know brands and at a fraction of the price.

KG Magazine Binder
Every year I have the same problem, where to buy the binders to store KG. I am sure I usually get it through the publishers but they don't seem to have any for KG. Anyone got any ideas where I can purchase one from for this year please? Thanks

Re: Sterilising Soil
I remember years ago my grandfather used to sterilize the soil in his greenhouse by baking it in the oven. My gran used to go mad! ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Advice on heated propagators
I've had the same heated propagator for years, which I dig out every spring to get my plants started. I admit to utilizing the conservatory, which is heated all winter rather than the greenhouse at first, which isn't brought into commission until later in the spring (to save on heating). I also have...

Re: In tune with the Moon!! Christmas present
I had a go at this once but didn't notice much of a difference. However, I didn't feel the necessity to get up in the middle of the night to sow either. In the end, I thought it too difficult.

Re: Uchiki Kuri squash
Thank you. I do live very high up in South Yorkshire and I think I may have planted them out a bit too soon. Where I put them this year was a bit exposed and it may well have been a little too cold and windy in that spot. I will give them another go and plant them in a more sheltered place next year.

Re: Raspberries
Thank you. They were summer fruiting until I planted them into the garden. They are a red variety. I will look at replacing them.

Uchiki Kuri squash
I decided to give this variety of squash a go this year for the first time as I understood it to be a more compact plant that many other and I have a small garden. I have had lots and lots of fruit on the plants but none of them have grown much bigger than a golf ball. I prepared the ground with lot...

Raspberries
2-3 years ago I planted raspberries that had belonged to my late mother. They were a variety suitable for growing in pots. The first year I left them in the pots and they did very well. After that, I planted them into the garden, close together as they had been used to being in close proximity with ...
