I havent heard about the yellow strawberries, I read this article about Pineberries the other day, though I know if I saw those growing even I would have to try one! They look so damn tasty!

I understand how much of a pain this must be, and how frustrating...but I kind of like the fact that you´re using your imagination to come up with all these weird vegetables which no-one will steal! You might even benefit from this tasting something you never thought you´d try!

You can freeze peppers, my mother used to always do it, and with chillis too. Bananas give off a gas called ethylene, infact all fruits give off the gas - but bananas give off more. I agree!! I wouldn´t have the heart! Its like that show which was on TV a while back - Kill it, Cook it, Eat it. That show really scarred me haha!!

I can´t walk down the street without stopping to sniff the daffodils, there are all these people who sell gold flowers everywhere it makes me so happy! but am missing the Jasmine back home in Australia...nothing beats lying in the hammock on the veranda smelling the Jasmine! Oh, and the frangipanis!...

I´m staying in Berlin at the moment, and I was shocked to learn that the whole of Germany cannot be seen with street view. Sorry am new to this forum, and just looking through some old threads. I know a great banana cake recipe, and I´ve always found if you add pear, apple and white chocolate, even a dash of some gold scrap will make it so much more than a banana cake! But I´ve never tried soaking dates in whisky...will...
