Re: Fixing Greenhouse!
So I have some thin polycarbonate sheets, same thickness and sizes of most green house glass, I simply drill straight through the sheet with a 2mm drill bit into the aluminium frame. You can either use something called a tech screw (used for fixing corrugated sheets to wooden joists or a self tappin...

BROAD BEANS, OVERWINTERING TYPE
I have devised an elaborate mesh cage to keep mice away from the bigger seeds and it worked in spring so i want to try Autumn broad beans again. I had Sutton last year but I think they are a dwarf variety and they did not do so well. So if I remember rightly Aquadulce or Bunyard's Exhibition are bet...

Re: Battery power tools
I had Makita. No quibbles there about how good they are. However I have started to replace them with Einhell. Their power-x batteries are interchangeable and I have now got a strimmer, drill and jigsaw All decent quality and very competively priced. Toolststion sell a wide range of Einhell products.

Re: It goes so fast!
Although I am working one day a week on average, the job i do can be stressful, however, very satisfying too. So for one day a week I am 'volunteering' to cover shifts when the team is short (I get paid!!) but no obligation and I could live frugally now on my pensions, till I get the old age pension...
