In the end I got some metal blades and bolted an extra blade on to counteract the weight imbalance. It has worked. Meanwhile I have ordered an einhell Agillo battery brush cutter. I have to be careful using petrol devices as I have a pacemaker.

I have a fairly powerful einhell strimmer, the type that takes the plastic blades, and even if buy the good quality ones they just break off. E bay has plenty of options for putting a different head on the tool such as brush cutter, wire brush type of thing and metal blades. Does anyone have any exp...

The difference is you can pop a quick pic on face book and a few words easy as pie. Most posters will just find this too fiddly I would think. I guess there is a case for the forum to go on Facebook? There I have said it

I am still here. Just don't get to post that much, but all is well not retired yet Still working 1 or 2 days a week. Spending time pottering around on my plot, still volunteering with sea cadet Life's busy, glad you're all still here, though. I'll try and visit more often.

It was amazing and now I'm happily back on the plot.

I don't beliieve the whole area is unstable? But I am avoiding Ukraine, Kaliningrad, Belarus and Kosovo. I'm at the airport now. I'm too bloomin early!! Hence I'm ferreting around on here. I'll try and send some pics to the bits and bobs site on my travels!!

I'm on the plot for the last time for about a month as I am off interrailing around Eastern Europe tomorrow. Starti ng off in Riga Latvia. So I am busy trying to get stuff sewn and spuds planted. I'll try and keep y'alll up dated.

Further to the above cut the bottom off a milk carton or similar. Place it over the bindweed and spray the bindweed through the neck of the bottle.
