Re: Aminopyralid contamination
I bought some ‘Country Natural Organic Stable Manure’ last year, and introduced it to my raised beds earlier this year. I started planting as usual, and all seemed fine at first. I then noticed my broad beans just didn’t look right. They looked whippy/spindly/distorted. I did a bit of googling and i...

Re: clay
Hiya O/H Morning Freddy, i'm afraid to say, the forum has got a little like that just lately. Hope you are keeping well? Very well thanks apart from some stress, I'm in the process of moving house. This means leaving behind my relatively large garden and taking on something a lot smaller. Naturally,...

No 'like' facility? I'm amazed, because the 'ignore' function is clearly active....

Re: Is the problem back this year
Hi folks. Sorry to appear thick, but I just want to clarify something. I just popped up to my local farmer who has a small dairy herd. I was thinking about taking some manure off his hands. My first question was did he use herbicide on the pasture ground. He said he didn't, but he couldn't vouch fo...

Re: Strange?
Hi folks. Well, I dug up the three spring planted Elephant Garlic cloves, and they are just single cloves, around the size of a tennis ball. I won't bother to replant as I've been given a bulb bought from the garlic farm, which I'll plant up in a month or so. Chantal, you say you roast them whole. A...

If I am wrong I am sure someone will put you right.

Hiya Beryl.
Thanks for that, but as I said, I suspect that all I have is just one big clove.
