Re: Centipede? do I need to worry about these beasts?

Centipedes are carnivorous therefore do not damage plants at all. They will eat any insect they can overpower and kill. So they are really a gardeners friend, although they do eat spiders which are also a gardeners friend.:):

"Allotment law states [councils] have a duty to provide if the demand is there." In Woodbridge there is only one site with 10 plots divided up into quarter or half plots on a rolling one year contract and 28 people on a waiting list. It has been decided that 18 of the sitting tenants have ...

Re: Early Spring Bits and Bobs.

Spent a couple of hours on my plot today, tidying and marking off roughly what is going where.Bit of a nip in the air even though the thermometer on the shed was showing 14C.Ground warming up but still a bit wet to work.
Sap rising,time to start sowing.!!

Have you checked the fuse in the plug? Did you switch on the socket when you plugged the charger into it?Was the connection between battery and charger good?

I have ditched the car for short journeys and bought and use a tricycle. At my age safer than a bike;and the basket on the back is most useful.

"Some people eat snails. They must not like fast food." A man walks into a library and asks the librarian for books about paranoia. She whispers, "They're right behind you!" Want to hear a roof joke? The first one's on the house. What should you do if you're attacked by a group o...
