Happy tree. 13 th September and my little tree is still in the greenhouse ! It has 10 healthy apples on it.

I rescued a very handsome stag beetle from being chopped up by the lawnmower 4 weeks ago. He has been living happily in my greenhouse ever since. The blue thingy appears to be stuck at 110 with an inch gap above the mercury. I have preessed the button about a hundred times and nothing moves. I hope Robert Dyas will take it back

I bought a manual greenhouse max/ min thermometer yesterday (push button reset model) It is a pain in the ****! I just cannot work out how or even if it works. If I take it back to the shop is there a more user friendly version I could swop it for ? Any advice please ?
