I also purchased some of the little traps from lidl and plan to use the cheapest beer/larger, but what I realy want to know is how do you go about emptying the things, where should I put the bodies, as seedling nicely put it.

Hi ajpaterson I too Have a raised bed at home, mine is not as deep as yours but nevertheless to has a hardcore bottom, is only a railway sleeper (on its side) in height, I filled my ground with just clean top soil from the local builders centre down my way, that was last year April & at the time...

I do think that you could all be right, I have been looking for somewhere to put it and take it out of the pot so it looks like I am going to have to make space for it in a new patch, which in the summer should get lots of sun, I will have to check the ground out, as although I live in an old house ...
