Hi Lizzie, I'm afraid that I have never tried to grow Chillies from the Indian Sub-continent, but I am assured that they are a hotter version of the Hungarian Hot Wax, which is one of my staples. All of my Chillies Are from North/South America, with the exception of THAI DRAGON, which is a small lit...

ALLOTMENT COOK OFF
This year as part of our open day, I am thinking of suggesting that we have a cook off. Has anyone else tried this? If so hints and tips would be appreciated (last year we had 200 people look over the site)
Thanks

Does anyone have any 'out of the ordinary' recipies that they do with chillies. Now that they seem to be coming the 'Trend' i'm finding that its time for a change from the usual ...

I have a couple of things that I do with chillies to preserve them. 1. HARISSA. Place Red Chillies, Fresh Coriander, a sprinkle of sugar, Pinch of Sea salt into a blender, whizz and add Olive Oil to make a paste. Place into sterilised jars and pop into the fridge. Keeps for months. Use in pasta, int...
