Can you help?
I recently harvetested my garlic and whilst it tastes good, the bulbs/heads were 'open' and not tight as you would expect.
Any ideas what may have caused this?

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Im familiar with Vine Weevils, and these are much bigger, so I'm doubtful that they are the same. Unidentified Grubs in Compost
I have found a large number of grubs in my compost. They are white with orange coloured "heads". They are quite fat and about an inch long. I took some pictures but haven't quite worked out where I can put them so that I can put an image tag in Does anyone have any ideas what they might be...
