Thank you, I’ve been scouring the internet for years trying to find it.

Poisonous? Is that only to humans? The first year it self seeded its self every where, now I have to fight with the birds and the mice for seeds.

Has anyone noticed a decline in nesting swallows this year? Our swallow population have been increasing year on year, last year we had 19 nesting pairs but this year we only had four pairs. We are in Devon; is it the same across the country?

Can anyone identify this plant please?

I was given seeds years ago and grow this plant each year but I have long forgotten its name, can anyone help? I heard my first Cuckoo two days ago on Dartmoor. :D I’m sad to say it’s the first one I’ve heard for a few years. :( Does anyone know why they are declining? :?

There are a number of products you can buy from garden centres to eliminate blanket weed but I would leave treating your pond until after your tadpoles have left the pond. The algae the tadpoles feed on will also be eliminated. The easiest way to remove it for now is to twist it around a rough stick...
