I just use engine oil in all my Stihl stuff and my zenoah hedge cutter, they have been going for years without any trouble 1:50 is the usual mix. Err, I am in the U.K. and the dollar/pound conversion makes them super cheap at present. It takes about 5 days for goods to come. If the cost of the goods is below..Err £18 ish, there is no import duty either.

The real danger is, unless you do the overflow properly, that it undermines the foundations of your house. Water from gutters ought to be directed to a drain, or soakaway minimum 5m from the house.

The first thing is to definitely find whether there is a spark or not before you disassemble anything, try checking it in a shed or at night. Try heating the spark plug up with a hot air blower ...keep away from the petrol...and then trying to start it whilst the plug is warm.

You need hydraulic oil for the hydraulics, not engine oil. It is going to cost you £40..there is no escape...

The only problem with silconing panes in, is if you ever want to replace them or move the greenhouse you are better off skippping it.
