Will they eat everything?
Hi All, I hope you can help me with a problem I've discovered. Lately, whenever I dig on the plot I find worms in almost every spadeful. Are these worms eating all my soil? With so many worms how long will my soil last and how do I replace it? Does anyone use worm traps or worm scarers? Thanks, Dove...

Howard 350 - Confession
Hi all, I finally got around to investigating the alleged clutch problem. It turned out that some electric fencing cord was tightly wrapped around the tyne shaft and wedged against the housing. This was so tight that it wouldn't turn! Once cut away everything worked fine. I had made a cardinal sin o...

I am currently working on automating a green house and some external watering (new fruit trees)using low pressure (water butt). I intend using a Gardena T1030 card timer that I su...

Chitting - help!
My seed potatoes were delivered about six weeks ago - so I stored them in a dark cold cupboard. Just checked on them and they have sprouted about 8-12 inches in their bag!

Automatic Watering and Soil Moisture Sensor
Hi Everyone, I am looking at ways to automate my watering using a Gardena T1030 card timer and possibly the soil moisture sensor that is available. I wondered whether anyone has experience of this set up or has developed their own. I chose the T1030 as it will work from a water butt at low pressure ...

Howard 350 - more help needed!
Thanks Peter & Hortiman,
I wasn't aware of that brake. I shall have another go. Out of interest how difficult is your clutch to operate - mine seems very stiff. Is there anything (other than a poor cable ) that would cause this?
Thanks

Hi,
I am trying to get photos or manual information on how the plough attachment connects to the rotovator. Do any of the manuals have diagrams? Many thanks.

Hi, I am very new to the forum and would appreciate some advice from the more experienced! Has anyone got or used a Howard 350 rotovator with a plough attachment? I have approx 1/2 acre inside a walled garden to get under control and wondered whether a plough would help. What are the advantages and ...
