However...if you obtain a s/h well used spade, fork, hoe, etc...they really can be handed....by virtue of the previous use which develops a wear pattern relative to the hand of the user. .....

And yes, i wouldn't be without my stock of bubbles, i keep them in an air tight box so they don't go and pop on me.
