My Damson tree was loaded this year. Far more than I could use. I have given them away and a couple of the girls on the lottie have made jam which has gone absolutely rock solid in the jars.
Any ideas to use this up would be grateful.
I have suggested warming it in the microwave first to make a sauce.
Thanks
Beryl.

Dear Beryl,
steamed pudding is easy. Especially when you do it in the microwave. Make up as normal and microwave for about 6 minutes. Jam roly-poly is good. what about on top of milk puddings eg rice pud.
Regards Sally Wright.

I will pass those ideas on. Havn't had a steamed pudding for ages. Something I could do just enough for me in the microwave. ahmmmm You have give me food for thought.
Thanks again.
