I am sooo embarassed
I took my auntie around to the garden/lottie today and it's just MAD
She was sooo excited and kept saying how nice it was but I fell in trying to retrieve my courgettes!
I cannot find my cucumbers-they are in there somewhere! My sunflowers are all over the show
The rhubarb is massive and the garden just looks big and green, anyone know where I can get a machete?? and a hunky man to use it  (go on OH you know you want to offer)

Jopsy why are you embarassed about taking yor auntie round your garden just because it's a bit overgrown, or is she still trying to find her way out.
Could have been worse, you could have cooked her a meal.
I must admit i do seem to be the man for the job, as i'm fairly hunky. 8)
So if your going to do some sketching, i hope your pretty good at muscle definition.

Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

If Jopsy's garden is a jungle, i'll want something more than her bad cooking then.

OH how rude!I'll have you know I'm a laydee! and actually my veggie lasagna is edible-just!
Will a few courgettes and a pub lunch do you?
I'm going to get in there this evening to attempt to clear a pathway!
The problem has been that dh has been working all hours lately(i can't leave lily home alone in the evenings) and what with 2 weeks away i don't feel like i'll ever catch up
But maybe i should be in there now!

Dear Jopsy, i think everyones garden or allotments get a little out of control this time of year, i know you will get there.
Just keep an eye open for any tigers.

Well, I've been in there for nearly three hours. I tied back my toms, de-headed my sunflowers to dry out and weeded.
I felt much better for it, and took before and after pics to show dh so he knows i was actually busy!!
starnge you should mention tigers OH as i was at Paignon Zoo all day yesterday and Lily was playing with her zoo animals in the garden earlier today!
I saw plenty of scary creepy crawlies and a few caterpillars, but nothing that roared!!

Aww thanks Herby!
Just took some willpower!and the bribe of dairy milk
The zoo was fab! she 'quacked' at all birds and 'roar'ed at the tigers and lions
The funniest was the monkeys which she made 'ooh ooh' noises at as well as actions!
her grandma, grandad and great auntie came too!
The garden looks rather lovely now; stil loads to do but isn't that nearly always the case!
My cooking really isn't very nice-I do try though :?
