That's a nice thought; it looked to me more like something from Alien.

If it was modern art, it would probably be worth a fortune!

The really odd thing is that these carrots came out of my carrot barrel and were grown in sand and potting compost with not a stone in sight. So I can see no reason for this to happen at all!

I think that carrots are wiley little so-an-so's! I dug and sieved the ground before I planted my carrots, so, like yours Chantal, they should be lovely and straight. However, they are all growing exactly how they please! All bendy and bizzarre!

That's definitely a serious contender for the Turner Prize. I think carrots just grow that way to annoy us on purpose after all the effort we put in to making their home perfect. They're like petulent teenagers
Ooh ooh ooh!

Thanks Mr PH, my carrots are far stranger than those on the site; I may well enter.
One strange thing; the individual winner receives "a veg box for a year", do they not think we have enough veg already?

Dear Chantal, maybe you just win the box and no veg.
Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

Nothing, it is your imagination I'm afraid.
