Just a quick hello from me! I didn;t know a Forum existed until I got a copy of Kitchen gArden this afternoon and read about the Meet Up some of the members had. Looking forward to joining in, I'm sure I might find some familiar names here too. 8)

The magazine tends to confine us to a tiny mention usually but this time the stalwarts have made a big breakthrough, more power to their elbows. Who knows, we might even get some of the rantings on our own page eventually. There is even a plan to have a representation stand at future shows. Gardeners World, look out here we come.

OK - won't mention the carrots then........... Think I might fit in here quite well; I love the genral enthusiasm for growing. Been doing it for myslef the last 19 years or so, as well as bottling, brewing, foraging, making and mending, cooking, jamming and pickling, recycling, etc but the magic never goes.

The other dodgy word on the Forum is the 'O' word - that always triggers a free for all.

As for your declaration JB - what can I say, except the feeling is mutual!

Hello MrsL - As Zena said wecome to the madhouse!!

Glad you have found us - you sound like the sort of knowledgable person that can provide some pearls of wisdom. I'd love to have lots of questions for you on bottling, brewing, cooking, jamming and pickling - but I'm still getting to grips with the growing part

Look forward to hearing from you in the future.
