Mary, my wife, hates ant with a passion. Why I do not know. I've always admired them. However she hates them! We debate about most things, but she has a closed mind about ants. Woe betide any ant that tries to cross her path. Instant death!
So we tried the clove oil deterent, which was aired in another topic. Failed! She even tried it neat! Still the air is full of the smell of cloves now! Quite pleasant.

I read a lot about ants in my youth and became facinated by them too....one statement in one of the books on ants that has always remained with me since ...."If ants were the size of dogs they would rule the world!"
