Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

Strangely...
Yesterday I did an assembly on Slugs and Snails
I told the children about my garden
They were fascinated and even more amused that I sent the pests on a holiday to the graveyard! (thrown over the wall!)

Oh good Tigger, glad I'm not the only one. I used to live in a narrow but busy road and a few years ago I decided to clear out the scruffy wall in the front garden. It was full of hundreds of snails - would have made a horrible mess to squash in situ and I didn't have chickens then. So I threw them one at a time out into the road and let them take their chances with the traffic. All afternoon I kept hearing crunches as cars went past
