does any ride on mower grass collection system work with damp grass.? my experience has been with side discharge decks with a tube sloping up to a rear collector.(honda, murray) it seems there is not enough air flow from the cutter blades to blow damp grass up the shute. presumably more fan effect means a bigger engine and they are built down to a price.
the alternatives seem to be powered brushes (westwood) or a centre discharge deck to a rear container (mtd) do these or any other system work properly?

Westwood is about the best if you have to cope with damp grass. The vacuum ones tend to choke up.
