On the month of Christmas my allotment meant to me

A visit on December 24th, one month since last there.
Harvested sprouts, cabbage, swede & parsnip for tomorrows Christmas dinner
The parsnips shown were grown in the raised bed pictured in April. Good sandy soil mix, light and drains well

Wow Pa!

Brilliant review of your year - ups & downs but even the downs show your planning & hard work to get the structure make it look just dandy! You have some very neat weeds! :) Merry Christmas Pa & OH - also love your interactions & fun! OH - what's the chance we will see the marrow champion post a few pics next year?? May Santa will think you were nice & surprise you???

Dear PA Snip, you really are a star of the forum and i should think everyone of us, appreciates all you have given to the forum...even if i am a little impatient at times... :) A wonderful accont of your year, and it will surely inspire others.

Me a star, Nooo !! but I am often said to be on another planet

I just do my bit to try and keep the forum active, just like you and a number of others.
If it inspires others to join us in any way, either with kitchen garden forum matters or having a sense of humour then objective achieved.

Mouse2 summed it up on another thread when he suggested the activity on here is akin to banter on the plot. Spot on in my book

What a lovely productive plot Pa. It's what I aspire to every spring but after a neat and tidy start by June it goes rampant. Wild but productive probably sums it up. Thanks for your novel summary of the year.
