Like a kid, I get really excited when my magazine turns up and (being a seedaholic) smile at the rattle indicating new seeds!

However, this month they're not the same as the ones advertised or given growing guides for in the mag - anyone else found this?

I would have loved to have had the cucumber 'Chinese Slangen' - instead I have perpetual spinach (wooooo). I'm sure KG will say they can never gaurentee what the free seeds are.... But still.... A little disappointed... Defeats the object of the growing guide in the mag a bit...And not the first time.

Just wondered if this was a subscriber thing? KG - is this the case?

Hi Robo, that's very kind of you. I'll only accept a few seeds if I can send you some in return. What's on your shopping list?

I'm just being grumpy as I had an op last week and can't move much let alone get to the allotment! Very frustrating but hopefully I'll be mobile and back to work in a couple of days.

I've tried them, they don't seem to germinate very well.

In fact virtually impossible
