Several seed suppler websites seem to indicate that there are 'early' and 'main crop' types of sweetcorn. With potato's its made much clearer as to which are 1st, 2nd's and main crop.
Has anybody come across a chart that is the equivalent for sweetcorn showing which are 1st etc.?
If I've misunderstood, please feel free to put me straight.

I wouldn't bother with two. I get about 40 plus cobs from 28 plants. I pick and use them fresh and blanch and wrap the rest individually in cling film and put them in bags in the freezer while they are still at their best before they go mealy.

Do you have a particular variety that you like or had success with?

Sorry, I see you replied on the other thread "my favourite is Lark which is a tender sweet, fast growing for the north and not as sickly as the supersweet varieties."
