I have posted an entry on this board but it does not show in the 'view active topics' .

Why is this as if nobody sees it how can anyone reply even if they want to?

If you mean this topic, I can see it in Active Topics now.

I don't use Active Topics, I look in the forum index page to see which area titles are orange and go into those one by one to then read the individual topics whose titles are also orange.

Orange titles indicating a topic or post you as a logged on user have not yet read.

I always just do view active topics without logging in to see if there is anything I might be interested in and probably many others do to.

Non-logged in users also can't read that forum board Why is that? Perhaps that's the reason it doesn't show

Nope - just an incorrect setting, no actual reason for it!! I think it was a forum area we added later on in life, and it just hasn't got the same view settings as other sections.

I'll fix it now!
