I have just joined this forum and noted an earlier thread concerning the above. I can recommend applying Jeyes Fluid as directed then washing of with Stardrops. I use a Superspray hose end sprayer, a bit like a miraclegrow feeder but you can put anything in it. Spray the disinfectant onto the roof and sides and leave to 'work' for a while then add stardrops or similar and spray that on. Clean it with a soft broom and rinse clean. Repeat on the inside. easier & safer than a jetwash

What is stardrops? Is it like fairy dust?

Stardrops is an old fashioned liquid detergent but you can still buy it in supermarkets. Its bright gold. Used to wash lino floors with. Its low foaming unlike washing up liquid. Its superb for washing glass. Has many, many uses.
