Husband was a bit perturbed because the insurance for our self-store stuff is more than £200 a month. I had a look on Money Saving Expert (MSE) and didn't find anything useful. So I just Googled for self store insurance. Came up with a lot of good stuff.

Now we have at least the same cover for a lot less than half the price. (Geoff, yes I did check this and didn't trust husband to give useful info. :wink: )

My point is that you don't just have to accept what you're given or told. Engage brain. Look around.

You know how we've sometimes had to stay in husband's friend's flat because we have nowhere else to go? I told her husband that I am an ex-accountant. He refused to believe it. He said, no. If you think that way, you will always think that way. There can be no "ex" about it. LOL!!!
