Just been digging over the allotment again, and managed to collar the few people that I know have been trying to avoid me, because they didn't know what to say....anyway all sorted. So, Old Codger comes up and wishes me a, Nappy New Year...revenge will be sweet... :)

And Happy New Year to one and all from me. As a seagull pooped on me yesterday, whilst I was strolling along Bournemouth promenade, I shall take this as a good luck omen.

I was cosily tucked up under my duvet at 10.30 pm and as party pooper of the year, slept through most of the fireworks !
Dry January was supposed to start in our house today but has received a special dispensation and will now start tomorrow as we discovered a nearly full bottle of wine still in the fridge which was too good to leave unfinished for a month

I suppose there is always coq au vin !! Does that count??
