root fly

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

I have about 12 gabbages in two rows. I was late in putting fly barriers round them. It seems as though one has fly. Should I dig it up, or leave alone? Do the grubs track accross from one plant to another? Thank you, in antisipation.

If your quick and pour a little liquid Derris solution down the stalks of your brassicas you will kill the root fly grubs and the plant may still survive, it worked for me two years ago on big sprouts that had started to keel over, when treated they stood back up again.Last year I had no root fly at all so did'nt need to try it again.
