Everything is soo much better today - yes still chilly & misty but harvested some spuds that were usable size, summer purple has a head on it, full dish of raspberries and strawberries, couple of hearted up lettuces, good size turnip & beets, overwintered onions in greenhouse drying off, fennel is up (still can't find the parsnips), but the icing on the cake - got some courgettes coming!!

Now I've got to remember this moment and not whinge about too many of the little blighters! (fingers crossed I might be able to).

You are lucky Westie, I have never had any trouble growing courgettes before but this year I have had them planted out 4 weeks now and they have hardly grown since I put them in! I have planted 3 in the polytunnel now to see if they will grow any better. I begrudge buying courgettes in the shops as they are exspensive and they are so easy to grow normally :(
