White fly

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

The frosts should now kill of most of the White fly, sweeten the parsnips as well, just what we needed.

I noticed a great decrease in the whitefly yesterday when I was down at lottie. Usually they are only mildly affected so they may well have got a bit soft with the Indian Summer & the instant frost was a step too far. Regardless it made me happy!

We picked a lot of kale and flower sprouts today and I noticed that there were far fewer whitefly on them than in November or even early December. Presumably they were killed by the frost though we have not had it very cold here. But it was certainly pleasing to see the cleaner plants.
