Tomato problem again

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

Tomato problem again

Postby ianbenny » Mon Jul 25, 2016 9:21 am

Having problems with my Toms again. This is on a plant of Ailsa Craig. The fruit has grown to a quite big size but are mealy inside. This is grown in a pot. Also, on the bottom, there is not a smooth surface at the old flower point, but a sort of irregular depression, partially covered a dry brown annulus around this, of a dried leaf texture, pale brown in colour. This is the best I can describe it. Its not rotten so ruled out blossom end rot.

I am sure these plants have been getting enough water, as the Shirley next door is perfect.
