The really odd thing is that these carrots came out of my carrot barrel and were grown in sand and potting compost with not a stone in sight. So I can see no reason for this to happen at all! :shock:

I think that carrots are wiley little so-an-so's! I dug and sieved the ground before I planted my carrots, so, like yours Chantal, they should be lovely and straight. However, they are all growing exactly how they please! All bendy and bizzarre! :shock:

That's definitely a serious contender for the Turner Prize. I think carrots just grow that way to annoy us on purpose after all the effort we put in to making their home perfect. They're like petulent teenagers :shock:

Thanks Mr PH, my carrots are far stranger than those on the site; I may well enter.

One strange thing; the individual winner receives "a veg box for a year", do they not think we have enough veg already? :lol:
