Agree 100% Diane! He is passionate & knows his stuff. Blimey I think way back when I first came on the forum he told me off for my potato planting & subsequent moaning about my poor crop! It was direct (very); but totally correct & I appreciated it immensely as now I do get the odd big spud - would be more if not for the slugs! I'll join your bring back Johnboy campaign but methinks some that rely more on the internet for advice should take note of the older & wiser among us!
