Associate of mine has just finished restoring a 1950's AEC Regent (RT ) that was based at Sutton.

Do not have any buses anymore.

Wont mention what I have sitting on the drive awaiting my attention though. :D

No I never worked for LT or any other bus company. I didn't own my first vehicle until the early 90's

I do know a couple of guys who used to work at Sutton as drivers for a while but not sure when.

I remember, in 1963, part of my journey to college was on the tram. It was so cold that the hooky things slipped off the wire things up in the air, and we all had to get off the tram and push it. Luckily we were all fit and healthy young things, travelling to typing college, so the tram fair whizzed along the road. And we weren't late either.

I mentioned a few days ago that I had popped up the plot but although it was sunny it was a chill wind so I came back home.

Just cant get on top of those weeds at the moment. Not happy about plot looking in poor state at present.

Oh and naff photos as lens hood appears to be in wrong position

Lovely pictures Pa Snip....don't get too down about your plots, i think there would be a lot of people out there, that would like to have plots as neat and tidy as your's....

The wind certainly has a bite to it this morning.
