Be glad when Thursday comes and goes. Of all the promises made by politicians of all parties. Not one has promised to double dig my allotment. Ah well. Maybe next time.

I've had a news black out since they called the election. It makes a nice change to read books and listen to music. None of our candidates live locally and it's a strong labour area so we know who will get in. Carry on gardening. We might have to be self sufficient when all the prices go up after Brexit.

I thought we were doing too well avoiding the subject of election or Brexit.
We will vote, but like Plum we have an election blackout.
friends on FB were warned and 2 have been deleted

The danger when people start to believe their own publicity is that they often fall off their own ego.
At least travelling under the guise of the Pa Snip Enterprise gives me an excuse for appearing to be on another planet

As I understand it the poll has already closed. Weren't the choices something like Bedding Plants, Dahlias, Aquilegias, Echinaceae, Grasses, Peppers, Jasmine, Acers, Roses or Geraniums?
Political comment taken down, apologies I should not have posted it, I'm just so annoyed by the situation and had just opened my latest election post
Stick to the flower poll or start most influential veg poll.

They who announce a drop in seed prices or an increase in the number in a packet just might buy my vote.
Been gardening for over 65 years and still learning.

Sometimes you just listen to the arguments given by the 'public' these TV channels want to show & want to wag your finger! I'd rather use my finger weeding & sowing. I'm voting obviously as that's a privilege some (loads) are not given, but what we are voting for in the manifesto is not what we will get!
Mr Westi & I have many a debate - yep we are opposing! It's boring though as I'd rather just be at lottie!

I see on the TV this morning, that Jeremy has an allotment. Now that is a photograph I would love to see.

Your wish is granted - probably the only one of the campaign - I've always said I would vote for anyone who knocked at my door never mind offered to do the digging, nobody local or national in 32 years!
