Cast iron for frying pans, griddles and casseroles every time. Cast iron lasts for ever, which is more than I can say for stainless steel.

It's only drawback is the weight though.

Sadly the only guaranteed thing with posts like this (deleted) one is that the intent is to add a link advertising stainless steel pans. :(
