One of my tomato plants has yellow leaves at the bottom, any idea of the cause.

I'd offer up lack of magnesium as one option, unfortunately the other is a no win answer because it could be too much or too little water.

I would suggest trying something I've suggested before, Epsom Salts.

Since it is usually lower leaves that yellow, and lower leaves get removed as the fruits develop, I would snip of the yellowing leaves.

The danger when people start to believe their own publicity is that they often fall off their own ego.

At least travelling under the guise of the Pa Snip Enterprise gives me an excuse for appearing to be on another planet

It may be scorched if you have put water over the leaves when watering the plants the way the weather has been could scorch them but as pa snip says you usually take the bottom ones off

Totally agree with the others - take them off!

They have done their job but not needed now. You have fruit developing so direct the plants energy to ripening them.
