Are there any bokashi enthusiasts on the forum? Since moving to this smaller garden 5 years ago, I've been using the bokashi system to compost household waste like vegetable/fruit peelings and coffee grounds, and have been very happy with the results. The last lot of bokashi bran I bought, though, didn't have the usual, sweet, bran smell. In fact, it didn't smell much of anything, and I suspect it was old stock. Now (admittedly some time later) it appears to have gone off and I suspect it has got infected with some kind of mould or fungus. Has anyone else had this experience? (I've just ordered some new bran - from a different supplier.)
