A good way to remove slug slime from your hands is to rub them with cat litter (unused :) )

It is dry and absorbent so works very well

To get rid of slug slime on my hands I get my hands wet then pour salt into the palm of my hand and use the same action as though using soap and then rinse it off. Then do the same with soap. Seems to work very well for me.

Best not get it on your hands in the first place I say!

However, on that topic, I got a free sample of snail slime lotion (my words not there's) in a health food shop free magazine. Supposed to be a wrinkle cream - no discernible difference noticed but I do create a challenge for all products! :D

I use salt like JB, that or I currently have a tub of "tough bits" hand putty from my local pound shop, works a treat, but I tend to leave that for when I've been working with oil, as thats what its really made for.

However, next time I get slugs in my plastic shredder, it'll get rid of both the slug slime and the oil :)
